Angela Sgourou was my first modern Greek teacher when I came to live in Chania some years ago and could hardly speak the language.

I remember it was always with great enthusiasm I waited for the next lesson, and quickly found myself communicating with locals, listening to music, reading newspapers and literary books, and even watching Greek films.

Angela is a very pleasant and dedicated teacher not only with a deep knowledge of her mother language, but also fully capable of transmitting this knowledge to her foreigner students, from beginners to very advanced non-native Greek speakers, including trained translators, interpreters and linguists. I highly recommend her classes!
